CALLBACK_PROLOGUE

Hi,

I have been looking at a lot of source code recently and noticed that some
people put in CALLBACK_PROLOGUE and CALLBACK_EPILOGUE in their code. Why is
that? When should it be done? What happens if I don't do it?
