You can load a program into flash and that will prevent the app from being
lost if the batteries run out. You need a flash utility like TRG's Flash
Pro to do it. It will
basically let you load apps into RAM and move them to flash. You can look
on their
website, www.trgpro.com for more info.

I sent this question yesterday, but I never saw it posted to
the list. I suspect something bad happened on the
Internet, but if some of you have already seen this question,
I apologize for reposting it.
Someone told me that it is possible to load a program
into ROM instead of RAM. This would prevent a program
from being lost if the batteries run out of power. Is it
really possible to do this? I've looked in the documentation,
but I couldn't find anything. It's possible the person who
told me this mistook Storage RAM for ROM.
If it is possible to load a program into ROM, please direct me
to the appropriate part of the documentation.
