I noticed that at least one particular vendor asked for my badge so they
could swipe it. There was a magnetic strip or something on the back with
all your contact info, etc.

Did anyone who attended the Palm devcon and take notice of how registration
process and visitor badges were handled? How did the vendors get your info
off the badge to send you marketing literature (ie. mag stripe, barcode,
etc)?
