I just bought a couple of books.  First was a comparison of tools and so
- so -Palm programming in 24 hours.  It at least gave me an overview. 
Second I picked up O'Reilly's Palm Programming - A developer Guide which
seems to be serving me much better.  Also read all the FAQ's you can
find.
