POSE OS 3.1 Welcome Screen Problem

I am trying to load and run an application from command line.  So
I specified the load_apps and run_app command line options.  When
the emulator starts up, it loads the app but does not run it.  It
waits at the OS 3.1 welcome screen.

Is there a workaround for this bug?

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.
