Having used both compilers myself for native development, my evaluation is
exactly the opposite. I'll take CodeWarrior any day over Visual C++. It's
faster, more stable, and easier to use by far. There are only two areas where
I think Visual C++ is better: the browser and the integration with the
resource editor.
You need to consider, though, that I use CodeWarrior on a Mac, not a WinTell
platform. The WinTell version may indeed be a bit flakey, and I woudn't know.
I use both platforms regularly, though, and I'd also rather use, develop for,
or diagnose a Mac over a WinTell machine any day.
