Thanks Aaron -- I had seen references to Multilink before but was not aware
that it was intended to work with GCC. Next problem: to save me (and Joe)
from reinventing a wheel, has anyone actually ported Multilink to the Wintel
environment?

the gcc linker called "multilink". you can find more information about
