We used a ton of custom FrmCustomAlerts to debug a problem that was
happening for us on Visor only.
It turned out that we were doing something that Handspring said not to.
We had accidently moved the application's databases into flash. This is
documented not to work because it makes the databases read only.
There was really nothing wrong with the code, although in an ideal world
we would check for this explicitly and give the user a better error
message.
So, before you bang your head against the wall, with adding sysbeeps and
FrmCustomAlerts like we did, you might want to check for that. No sense
in everybody getting these large bruises on their foreheads. :-)
