this is one of the flaws i think of the forum where other programmers are
not providing a solution for someone elses program but telling them how to
program.  i have had 2 applications where i can not have an exit just by
tapping on another button or program.  i h ad to control it with an "EXIT"
button and access to that was dependant on who was logged in the
application,.... so yah,  exit buttons are viable and the question to why he
wants it is his concern,  not ours,
