I personally would like to know why your two application buttons need an exit
button as a learning experience for myself. I can not think of a reason that
the Palm would need to "close" an application and I would like to understand
the need for an exit button.
I think it is appropriate for this forum to attempt to educate a developer as
to why they do not need to take certain steps that were necessary on other
platforms. Mamy times such feedback results in the developer thanking the
group for the explaination and we are done. Other times the original person
asking the question present thir reasoning for breaking the normal processing
and everyone learns a new trick.
I agree with you that if the developer really needs to do something out side of
the normal processing that they should still be able to ask for help.
However, they should add a reason why they need to work outside the normal
rules or make a statement that they understand they are breaking the rules but
wish not to explain why. That is if they do not want to get a large number of
posted replies that say simply we suggest you don't do this.
