How about going the other way? Hack a connecter that can go from the CF
serial card to your hardware, and then use the "regular" serial port for
debugging. (How hard it is to make that connector depends on the device,
but worst case you could always use the bottom inch or so of a trashed
Pilot 1000 ;-)
This also gives you an excuse to rev your app to be able to address OS 3.3
serial ports.
