Usually, this is caused because you do not have an application on the device
with matching creator id. For your conduit's OpenConduit() function to get
called, you must have an application loaded on the device with a creator id that
matches the creator id registered with for your conduit.
HotSync seems to be loading your conduit OK since it calls CfgConduit. As Ralph
has mentioned, we recommend you are using CDK 3.0 with HotSync 3.0.1 or later.
If not, please upgrade. You mention that your ConfigureConduit() function is
getting called, but we CfgConduit() should be used for HotSync 3.0.1 or later.

Subject: Conduit help
I took minimal Sales Conduit from the book "Palm programming: The
developer's guide". I am running this condout but it doesn't work. I set
breakpoints in all export's functions (ConfigureConduit,
GetConduitInfo,GetConduitVersion, GetConduitName, OpenConduit) and used
hotsyncd.exe for debugging this programm. And ConfigureConduit,
GetConduitInfo is called during debug but GetConduitVersion,
GetConduitName,
OpenConduit is called never (I thought they should be called when I press
SyncButton on my Palm).
Anybody knows what's problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
