Ahhh crap, I just made a 'New' profile and all is well. I was not starting the program correctly. When it asked for a .PSF file, I selected the ROM image instead. This is what caused POSE to crash in a nasty way. Perhaps, there should be some sort of filecheck to make sure a person can only load a .PSF file and not the ROM image like I did <period>.
