Using Codewarrior R6 (full release) on my Windows 98 PC, if I open the
project options dialog and simply click on "Global Optimizations", the IDE
crashes and exits. All other options work OK. It is not specific to my
project, as I can create a brand new project using the stationery, click on
"Global Optimizations", and it bombs out.
Anyone run into this? I'm getting a new PC within a few weeks, so maybe a
totally fresh install of everything from Win98 on up will take care of this.
However, I was hoping to release my product update before that time and
would like to play around with the optimizations to see if I can get the
code size down a bit. I tried installing it on my NT system at my office and
it works OK, but that's not where I do my Palm development.
