You cannot use both ports at the same time because each uses the same serial UART of
the DragonBall. An upgraded Palm Pilot 1000, 5000, Personal, or Professional model
with the IrDA memory expansion module has a separate UART for IR, but due to issues
with the Palm OS you still can't use them both at the same time.
