CW6 hangs on my Mac

The CW6 IDE hangs my Mac for about 30 seconds every 10 minutes or so. This
is the only app that does so. I have a G3-233 desktop running Mac OS 8.6.
I've also installed the Palm OS 3.5 SDK. Any ideas?
