  i do some serious checksum checks.. (not using a trap tho).. and i have
  never had problems of hearing about a "unreliable" version of my
  software. what you tell people is that they MUST download it from site
  X,Y and Z in order to be "official".. if you write this on your pages
  you wont have that problem :)

  ps: a cracker wont release a .prc unless it passes testing with the
      crack :)
