Not at all. This is just a small two-hour event, and as such we didn't
imagine that people would want to fly around the world for this.
Therefore, we didn't waste your time by sending you mail inviting you to
something you almost certainly wouldn't want to attend. We all hate spam
:-)
(We don't invite the American crowd to events in Europe; there'll be events
in Asia soon, for which the invitations are targetted as well. We're just
trying to be practical and not bother people.)
However, if anyone from anywhere in the world wants to come, go ahead and
submit your application as the note said. We'd love to see you.
