Nope.

A 'Tbmp' is a 'Tbmp', and that didn't change.

The problem is the PalmRez Post Linker is the thing that's in charge of
turning bitmaps into 'Tbmp's. In order for it to turn a color bitmap into
a color 'Tbmp', in needs the help of a bitmap family resource ('tbmf').

The bitmap family resource is required so that the post linker knows what
depth to produce, what compression type to use, etc. There's no place to
put that information in the bitmap itself.
