By default, out of the box with no extra software installed, only the Palm
VII does any encryption at all, and it does it with Elliptic curve.
If you install other software, that other software could do anything it
wanted. But SSL libraries aren't available as far as I know, and there
aren't supported APIs for the Elliptic curve libraries on the Palm VII
devices.
