Hi everyone--
I have a few questions:
1. How can I get a ROM off of my visor to use with POSE? I have read some
newsgroup post which say it won't work. So now I have to wait 2 freaking
weeks for 3Com to acknowledge my signing of the NDA to get access to their
ROMs. This sucks. If anyone can point me to a 3.x ROM offlist, I would
appreciate it. I think it is idiotic that Visor developers/owners be
punished since POSE can't grab the ROM -- maybe handspring should provide a
ROM image. Oh well, I am just upset and rambling.
2. What is the best way to simulate a net connection to the Visor/Palm?
Via POSE? Using one of the various tools that sets up a PPP via the serial
cradle? I have only seen those that work with UNIX -- are there any
freeware apps that will do this with Windows? How about commercial?
3. What do you guys recommend for developing network apps? CodeWarrior,
GNU tools, or some other IDE?
