I have CW5.1 on a Win98 system. I must say, the debugger/POSEr integration
is pretty tough to live with (though a LOT better than it used to be!). I
am using the 2.1d29 POSEr, it seems to be the most stable for me.

For example, if I hit F5 and CW starts to upload the PRC to POSEr, and I
restore a minimized MSOutlook window such that it draws on top of the
"transferring PRC..." status bar in any fashion, CW immediately tells me it
failed to connect to the remote device. I then have to quit CW, quit POSEr,
and try again.

And then there's the issue of stepping through code. Sometimes it works,
sometimes the arrow just gets 'stuck'. When it gets stuck, sometimes you
can get un-stuck by doing a Step Over.

And I've seen some pretty strange stuff when stepping through template
classes in the IDE... the arrow lands on code that never gets executed,
mysterious templatized copy constructor code appears to be dead-stripped in
the debugger window, yet the body of it still gets executed.

Man, I could just go on and on! I digress.

I'm curious if upgrading to CW6, which I've had sitting in a box since it
came out at the Palm dev conference a few months back, will be a good or bad
idea. I'm guessing that a few problems were fixed, and a few were
introduced. That seems to be the trend in upgrading CW's these days.

Thanks!
