According to the TinyTP specifications, SAR (segmentation and
reconstruction) is supported IF the MaxSduSize specified during a connect
is not zero. If the MaxSduSize is zero, then the packets have to fit into
a single TTP-PDU that is determined by IrLAP negotiation.

I'm 90% sure I know the answer, but I want to ask: Does the Pilot
implementation of the IrDA stack support SAR in the TinyTP layer? (I think
the answer is no.)

The TTP-PDU size is 509 bytes - or more specifically IrMaxTxSize and
IrMaxRxSize bith return this value after a successful connection.

I suspect that during the TinyTP connection that the pilot sets MaxSduSize
to zero. But I can't confirm it nor do I have any control over it.

Does anyone have experience in this area?

Scott
