I've used CWR5 on both the Mac and the PC, and I have to agree with Brian
that development life on the Mac is better. Mac users, however, don't have
access easysrc.exe, a PC only tool. It generates skeletal code based on the
resource header generated by the Constructor.
See my article in the January 2000 issue of DDJ. Although it discusses
building a Euro Calculator for the Palm OS, I touch on Mac vs. PC platform
issues. (Apologies for ignoring GNU developers!)
I can't speak for CWR6, although I've read sarcastic comments here that with
R6, the Mac version has achieved parity with the PC version. Ouch!
