What are you trying to receive? Several people have reported a silent
failure when you try to accept a beam when the database needed for that
beam is open (ie, if you have the memo pad database open for some reason,
memo pad can't accept memos until you close the database). It is somewhat
obscure, but I know of at least 2 apps that ran into this (one of them my
own).
