Hmm - a bad choice of words from me maybe. Don't get me wrong, I was in no
way detracting from POSE - it is the only "tool" that I have for the palm
that actually seems to work properly and I have no idea how many hours of
head-scratching it has saved me. I was making the distinction (which I
believe is valid) between a development tool and a testing/debugging tool.

internally for testing and debugging, and is invaluable to external
developers
as well. Poser catches all kinds of weird bugs for you that most other
environments won't... if you read from an unlocked memory block, or walk
off the
end of an array, Poser will catch it and you can see right where the error
is in
your code (well, in labelled assembly language anyways). Heck, without
Poser,
no 3rd party developers would be able to (reasonably) develop apps for
PalmOS
3.5 until we actually released devices that were running it. What a great
way
to get a head start!
