The problem is not, though, whether the bits of the
previous form are saved so they can be restored easily
when you close the new form ... the problem is whether
the bits of the previous form are left behind on the
screen or not.  In other words, "save behind" is also
acting as an "erase previous screen contents" flag,
and if you don't check it the previous display does
not get erased!
