It's easy, at least to my knowledge. I suppose you've got Palm OS 3.1
in SPT?
Download enhanced IR support drivers from Palm and install. This way
you get
IrCOMM support on IR. Now go to Prefs, set up dialup account and switch
to
IR or Serial, whatever your wish. If you select IR, then enable IR on
Ericsson and put them together.
Now I don't know hoe is that done programmatically but it is logically
similar
to what is done in Windows which dialup automatically if needed.
