What you are asking about involves Basic Authentication in your PQA which it doesn't
support. Your best bet is to create an open
port (see http://oasis.palm.com/devzone/knowledgebasearticle.cfm?article_id=1671 for
open ports) that requires no authentication
(providing this is for intranet use only) *or* create a login screen and once the user
is logged in allow them to query the
database.
