Hi folks,
My task has been to make a palm pilot contact search against our customer db
that exists inside our company's firewall. So far, I have it set up so that the
start page is html and submits the first and last name input fields that the
user enters. The connection to the db is made using asp. When I hit the submit
button from the browser's html page, I receive a domain authentication pop-up
asking for my user name and pswd. I gladly enter it, and the results are
returned to me. However, when I hit the submit button from the palm-pilot, I
get the NetiLib1415 error. Thanks to Jon's response to my last question, I
realize I need to pass some type of dummy user id and password to get the palm
user past this NT security level. Is this possible? If so, any suggestion's on
how to handle such a task?
I am new to the palm pilot development. So, I will greatly appreciate anyone's
feedback. I've been reading these questions and responses for a couple of
months now. I have already learned much from the talented developers in this
audience. Thanks for your time!
