Character vchrRonamatic

I was just looking thought the chars.h header in the 3.5 SDK, and I saw this
define:

#define vchrRonamatic    0x010E  // stroke from graffiti area to top half of
screen

I've seen this character used before -- you can even set its default
behavior in the PalmOS preferences.  I'm just wondering from where it got
its name.  Anything to do with an engineer named "Ron"?
