This is a fun little piece of PalmOS trivia...
You guessed right!  Its named after Ron Marianetti.  He's the engineer that
created it, and one of the original PalmOS architects.  Its now known as "the
ron-a-matic stroke", and I'm really not sure what else you would call something
like that...
