Conduits are not designed for this in a matter they are designed to cover
the more general question of installing (rather sync-ing) with the device.
What you want is a subset of what a conduit could do. Of course, you have to
take care of all the conversion issues - the conduit technology only provide
you with the ability to sync "something". What exactly depends completely on
you.

Check out InstallBuddy - they are doing exactly what you are talking about.
