I believe that this behavior is the correct behavior. If you look at
many desktop apps that support tripple tapping (xterms, etc.) it is
always 1 line across the screen, not 1 sentence. If you want to select
a whole sentence that spans multiple lines, you can add a "drag" to your
sequence of actions, and you will get what you want (tap-drag,
doubletap-drag, trippletap-drag)
