hi folks,
i have loaded a Web Clipping App "ThinAirMail" which provides access to
POP3 and IMAP servers.I dont understand as web clipping is only for HTTP.My
doubt is that how this web clipping connects to port 110 for POP3
services.Lets say if i want ot write such a web clipping which can connect
to any port how shalll i write it.As whatever i have read in web clipping
documentation says that web clipping apps only send comprressed HTTP
requests to web proxy servers and web proxy servers uncompress them and send
to the statndrad internet web servers.and in the same fashion the result is
returned to the Palm vii web clipping app.so how does this ThinAirMail web
clipping
app fits in this scenario.
Previosly under the same heading we had found out that we can not
connect to any web servers at any port.
so plz help me in eliminating this confusion.
