Sure. I was keeping the explanation deliberately simple, and wanted to
skip having to put in a phrase about how you can turn it on, and choose one
of the two compression types, and then check to see whether the compression
actually saved you any memory, because depending on the image data turning
on a compression algorithm might actually use more bytes in the worst case!
But yes, go ahead and compress, and if the file is non-trivially smaller,
keep it on. Remember that it'll take longer to draw a compressed icon, so
factor that in if you only see a two-byte size difference :-)
