Mathias,
I'm not sure if you are trying to create a pre-OS 3.5 multibit icon or a
Palm OS 3.5 App Icon Family. If a pre-OS 3.5, you need to create a new
Multibit Icon resource, and draw only in the top 15H X 9W, which is the area
used for any icon with ID 1001 to create a small icon. You should make sure
that you have both the B&W and Greyscale icon windows (on the righr of the
icon editor) filled.
For App Icon Families, create a new App Icon Family, giving it an ID of
1001. Make sure you do NOT have a Multibit Icon and App Icon Family at the
same time. Set the size to 15H X 9W, and press Ctrl-K twice (or more) to
create your icon families. Then create as many bitmaps as needed for 1, 2,
4, and 8 bit icons, all with size 15H X 9W and enter their IDs into the
Family Member Bitmap ID field.
