For me an useful period of time starts at more tnah 4 days of light
use, or more than 24 hours of heavy use (non-stop).
I take my Palm with me when I go diving, caving, climbing, etc., and
there we usually don't see electrical outlets for a week or two.
Notebooks are out of game, CE machines as well.
I'm using Palm IIIx and not one of series V exactly because I can
"recharge" series III on every gas station or minimarket in some
forgotten little town. And I'm not willing to have to spend there a few
hours to get a V recharged. Or I take "charges" with me and I'm
independent for almost arbitrary period of time instead of taking a
charger and have to hunt for outlets.
This is how I see enough battery life.
Best regards,
Gregec
