Right.  So long as you don't use types that are all lower case letters, and
you have your own creator ID on the database, the type can be whatever you
want it to be.

If you tell other people that your type means something, that's up to you.
But nobody else will care what you call your own databases so long as you
don't use one of the standard system ones... and they're all lower-case.
('appl' and 'panl' are perfect examples.  See SystemResources.h in the 3.5
sdk for others that the system defines, some for its own internal use, some
for developers to use.)
