Steve,

Thanks for the feedback.

The standard Palm Desktop application allows you to specify that you want to
hotsync your email. It prompts for which email client to use, and Microsoft
Outlook is an option if it is installed on the same PC. Then it just asks
for which Outlook profile to link to. It is really easy to setup, and we
like that. We just don't like having to hotsync twice to make sure that all
emails get delivered/received.

I talked to Chapura, the makers of PocketMirror, and it turns out that they
don't do the email syncing to Outlook, just the Calendar, Contacts, Notes,
etc. So PocketMirror doesn't look to be a solution for us either.

Anyone out there have some ideas? Is this a known bug in the Palm Desktop?

Very truly yours,

Rob G.

I sync my Visor with Outlook 2000 and I use Palm Desktop 3.0.1. If I write
an email on my palm and then do a HotSync, the message gets sent
immediately. However, I am only using one Outlook profile not multiple
profiles like you are. I thought there was an option in Outlook to send
Outbox items immediately but I can't find it.

I didn't know that you could sync to Outlook at all without using
PocketMirror. If you do use PocketMirror, I am pretty sure that you have to
sync address book, calendar, memos, todo, and mail to Outlook.
