Actually I think its down about 3/4 of the time right now. :-) We're
having a lot of transition/system problems that lead to oasis.palm.com
downtime. Our IS hardware group is in the process of ordering another
machine to help stabilize oasis.palm.com and our IS software group is
transitioning the back-end database from MS SQL Server to Oracle.
I'm also rewriting much of the back-end and front-end web code to help
stabilize things.
I apologize for all of the system problems, but we are working on increasing
the stability and capacity of the system quite substantially. Remember the
transition from the old mailing list server to the new one? It will
probably be something like that.
