I think that Symbol Technologies provides certification through
Palm Incorporated...My biggest gripe is the case where guys who 
don't make a huge profit writing share/freeware, and aren't really 
pulling down enough wages to really afford taking the certification.
It makes it that much harder for these guys to get a good break.
Of course, those of us who are incorporated don't really have much
to complain about, unless you cannot get your company to buy off
on funding your certification.
