sysNotifySyncStartEvent

Hi All,
    Is there a way to find out the application's info at the begining of
synchronization. How i can use sysNotifySyncStartEvent. I woluld like find
out which application or database is synchronizing on to palm when a hotsync
started and i want to control that process.
