debugging on devices

hello,

i've been working with symbol spt units for a bit now.  i just tried for the
first time debugging on a IIIxe,  but when it is completed installing it
says 'could not complete,  reset and delete app' message.  is there
something differant about this unit i must do or with the ide to debug on
it?  or can i?
