Sounds like the Happy Hacking Cradle.  I've got one of those, it's pretty
interesting.

Even though it is pretty trick, I don't use it all that much.  Probably
because my gotype takes up so much less space.  It's only $50 so I just had
to have one in case they stop making it or something.  Actually I may just
wind up using it on another device.
