Wow, we've some uptight folks here, as is usual on anonymous boards,
unfortunately.
By simple, I mean the interface is simple. No wazoo graphics, no
spectacular animation, just a clean interface with 6 different
screens. Yes I know writing the program is not simple. That's why
I came to this board. So relax, you'll live longer.
This isn't an anonymous board!
Folks aren't uptight, just experienced with dealing with requests for
thousands of dollars of worth of software development from people
expecting to spend just a few hundred dollars.
Custom software costs money. So the question is whether you have the
budget for it or invalid expectations? The previous respondent noted
the hotmail account as a possible indicant of a small
budget. Another indicant of a small budget is use of the Zire 31,
instead of (say) the Treo 680, because we don't have any knowledge of
your volumes. If you intend to deploy several thousand units, then
the use of cheap hardware doesn't indicate a small budget.
If you are looking to spend a few hundred dollars, you'll need to
find existing software to license, and that may well exist!
If you have a five figure budget, you'll be able to easily create
what you want.
If somewhere between, you may still be able to get what you need.
You don't need to tell us exactly how much you expect to spend, but
some general indication would get better advice!
