FWIW - I had the same problem when I moved to a new HP laptop, every time I load the emulator - No Sound (still doing it now as I write this email). BUT, if I go into prefs and click on the drop down for system sound, Select High (which was already selected) it bursts into life, YMMV. Cheers John
