If you haven't done this already try running the simulator in Administrator Mode (Right-Click any application/shortcut and select "Run as Administrator"). Of course, you'll need to have the proper administrative rights and such. This method has worked for me for everything that doesn't work on Vista. I got PODS/GODS to work by simply installing it and running it the first time in administrative mode.
Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ---- From: Bart W <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Palm Developer Forum <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 2, 2007 6:40:20 AM Subject: Re: PODS - Vista compatability? PODS/GODS WILL work with Vista - see: http://charlesmcp.blog.com/1552399/ (N.B. the final forward-slash is important). It's great of this chap to have figured it out. I tried it and it seems to work pretty much fully! I've even had USB debugging running directly to the device (a Zire 71). However, I'm still trying to figure out how to get the Simulator debugging starting up reliably. I have had it debugging once, but then it started saying "Launching - Error - Unable to find the Host Application". I'm sure it's just a case of finding that elusive fix or procedure that gets it to run reliably.
