The cards may be faster, but the device needs to be able to use that speed.
For example, a 20 MB/sec capable SD card only works at 4 MB/sec in my
generic card reader.
I don't think the Treo 650 I have is also capable of high speeds, not
sure about newer Treos...
I do know that only high-end digital cameras support some types of
high-speed memory cards at their maximum speed rating.

Hi phreak. That's exactly what I was thinking. SD cards are a lot
faster now. Probably 200 or more times faster than when the program
was last updated, which I think was 2003. I like being able to edit
audio on my pda, but two minutes is obviously not enough. You think
it can be done. If so, it could work for other programs too.

Do you mean something along the lines of creating a swap file
(per desktop OSs) to simulate more dynamic memory? When I read
onboard memory I am assuming dynamic memory, but that may not be
the case...? difficult, but most likely not impossible...
