Another thing is that some Palm OS programs have Desktop
(WindowsXP/etc) components that are needed for added functionality of
the program residing on the Palm device.
And these Windows Desktop programs are harder to crack/reset the trial of...

i think its different. every software will be hacked so why bother... just do
something simple, it will scare 90% of people anyway and you are fine. from my
experience especially people in usa etc. seem not willing to bother to delete
preference or look for crack if they can buy full version for few $ - i mean
ordinary users not palmos addicts and programers..these would crack anything
anyway.
so unless you take it personally as some sort of competition then
dont waste too
much time with it.
another thing, very difficult protection will almost for sure
somehow limit also
users who have full version. so in such case be ready for lot of
angry emails :-)
